What is Skyblock?

With Skyblock, you’ll create your very own island. Here your goal is to expand your starter island to get everything you need to thrive and survive, including crops, mobs, and all the blocks you want.

As with our Survival Realm, the goal of Skyblock can be whatever you’d like it to be.

Do you want to have the island with the highest level at the end of the season to earn extra rewards? Would you like to unlock the highest in-game rank? Fancy being the richest player? Do you want to have the highest jobs or skill level? Be the top dungeon master? The possibilities are endless!

Visit Skyblock using /skyblock to see what you can make of your island.

Find a list of all island related commands easily with /island help. You can also manage most of the important things simply with /is

Island menu

/is or /is cp holds the menu for all the changes you can make to your island! From here, you can teleport to your island, view a list of all your island members, disband your island, upgrade your island, view the bank, quests, and island warps.

You can also click the settings button, allowing even more customization available for your island. Here you can control mob spawning, day/night settings, crop/tree growth, the weather, and so much more!

Upgrading your island

You can earn money using /jobs, /quests, /shop, or /vote to spend on upgrading your island!

Type /is to open the island menu and click the upgrade menu. Available upgrades include island size, number of members, number of hoppers, and the generators.

Island Minions

Do you fancy hiring some help for your island? Why do all the hard work yourself when you can hire minions to work for you!

Visit /market and talk to Kevin the Minion where you’ll find a variety of minions you can hire to help out on your island.

Minions are NPCs who will do exactly what you hire them to do, without complaining as long as you heal them!

For balancing purposes, you can only have a maximum of 5 minions active at any time.

Right click a worker to access its panel. From a worker’s panel you can customize the worker’s name, skin and position, attach a chest to your worker to collect blocks/drops that they obtain for you, view the worker’s health and heal them as needed, and level up your worker.

Minions Upgrades

Below you can see a list of the minion upgrade prices and perks.

Collector Minion

Collects dropped items within a radius.

Level 1: 3x3x3 Level 2 (1M$): 4x4x4 Level 3 (3M$): 6x6x6 If the chest is full, items drop on the ground unless disabled.

Farmer Minion

Automatically farms crops.

Level 1: 2x2x2 Level 2 (1M$): 4x4x4 | Iron Hoe Level 3 (3M$): 6x6x6 | Diamond Hoe, Enchanted, Max Health: 30

Feeder Minion

Feeds nearby minions.

Level 1: 3x3x3 Level 2 (1M$): 5x5x5 Level 3 (3M$): 7x7x7

Fisher Minion

Catches fish more efficiently.

Level 1: Base fishing chance Level 2 (1M$): Increased catch rate Level 3 (3M$): Best catch rate | Enchanted, Smelts Fish

Smelted fish means auto-cooked fish.

Lumberjack Minion

Chops wood automatically.

Level 1: 3x5x3 Level 2 (1M$): 4x7x4 | Iron Axe Level 3 (3M$): 6x10x6 | Diamond Axe, Enchanted

Miner Minion

Automatically mines blocks.

Level 1: Mines 1 block ahead Level 2 (1M$): Iron Pickaxe, Smelts Ores, Enchanted Level 3 (3M$): Diamond Pickaxe, Smelts Ores, Enchanted, Max Health: 30

Slayer Minion

Kills mobs within range.

Level 1: 3x3x3 Level 2 (1M$): 5x5x5 | Iron Sword, Looting 1 Level 3 (3M$): 7x7x7 | Diamond Sword, Enchanted, Looting 2, Max Health: 30, Smelts Drops

Damage: 200 per hit.

How do I go to the nether? You cannot right now. A Nether Island option will be added in a future update, allowing you to create a nether portal on your main island to get onto a secondary nether island.
